I know you signed up to receive deer hunting tips, so I hope
you don’t mind if I share some personal news with you.
you don’t mind if I share some personal news with you.
My mom went home to be with the Lord last week, ending her
30 year battle with MS. I’m very sad for the separation that
now exists, but I’m overjoyed to know that it’s only temporary,
and she is now better off than all of us!

now exists, but I’m overjoyed to know that it’s only temporary,
and she is now better off than all of us!
She was a loving and courageous woman who wanted nothing
but the very best for her family. I long to be reunited with her
someday in Heaven, and I hope to take as many others with
me as I can to be there too.

Good hunting and God bless,

Pattern Other Hunters
You know that in order to kill a big buck you have to hunt where
big bucks live, right? Well, did you know that there’s another
piece of information that’s almost as valuable as that?
Not only do you need to know where a big buck lives, you need to
know where other guys hunt. You need to pattern other hunters
just like you pattern your buck.
Why? Because deer do, especially big bucks. They will adjust
their schedules and travel routes to avoid hunting pressure, and
you must adjust your strategy accordingly if you want to see them.
Figure out where others are hunting, as well as, how they are
entering and exiting the woods. Then, determine how you think
this pressure will affect the deer, and find a spot where you can
intercept them as they flee the pressure from your competition.

That’s it for this week!
